I've been itching to build or buy an sbr recently after seeing this bad boy [IMG]

I really do like the Daniel defense mk18 but for 1800 I feel like I can build my whole rifle with attachments attachments included for that price.

So let me see and here what you guys have going on!

Oh and unfortunately I live in oppressive ass nj So no silencer or full auto

Not yet an SBR. But I'm wanting to go ahead and pay the Tax Stamp on it so I can have it legal. Although I'm tore between SBRing it and doing a Silencer for it.

It's a home built 9mm using a Anderson Arms lower with Palmetto State parts kit. And a Mas Defense 9.5" complete upper. I'm in it the way she sits for well under $1,000.

sweet, im not sure if i would want to go with 9 or 223

under 16" is legally considered a sbr

which reminds me i need to double check nj laws on class 3 sbr you cant have that BS

I always heard and read that when you get under 12" you start having reliability issues with .223 and 5.56. That's the reason I went with 9mm. I figured going to a longer barrel would only improve on the 9mm rounds ballistics.

My Tavor (with a 16.5" barrel) is an inch shorter overall that a Colt M4 Commando (with the stock collapsed and an 11.5" barrel. I see no need to go the SBR route.

SBR's... SMH, another trendy, I contemplated building one for a while then came to the conclusion that I have 0 use/need for one, it would in no way benefit me, I don't do any kind of CQB so the range of an SBR is sub par for my needs. They are badass looking... just not practicle, SHTF = useless.

I just finished my pistol with sig brace and for sure you want to build it vs. buy it. There are a lot more restrictions on SBR crossing state to state vs bringing a pistol (carry permit). Will be getting a suppressor and overall length for barrel will be around what my 16" ar is or less (reason for doing pistol instead).

Sorry it's not an sbr, picture a real stock on it lol.
