Not sound negative on Bilstein 5100's ,I put a set on my 06 ram 1500 Quad cab 4.7 with spacer kit and new 5.7 coil spring and additional $2,000 dollars in replacing ball joints control arms and bushings. After 25,000 miles , Went change my oil and noticed all the oil blew out of both bilsteins in the front. But I have 94 Yukon GT 126,000 on the original Bilstein Yellow shocks that are all surface rust but are bone dry. I'm kind of not happy with having to replace them , especially after spending 2 1/2 hours with sawsall cutting the lower control arm bolts because they were frozen in the bushings and having to replace the front stub shafts and CV axles because they were frozen too. At this point , I want to cut everything off and put a gen 1 Solid axle with leaf springs on it. Sorry my first post is kind of venting a little anger , At least when I rebuild something on my 1st gen it at least lasts a few years.
