Hi,

I Have a 2016 ram 4x4 and I'd love to have a lift kit installed. Just concerned that it would void my lifetime warranty.
Hoping someone can tell me what my options and how much on average it will cost to have it done.

Thank you.

Lifting will only void your suspension part of your warranty.

Getting the Mopar accessory lift done by a Dodge Garage won't void your warranty.

In fact, FCA will warranty the installation, parts and labor.

Depends on the dealership really. Some will still honor it and some will give you issues.

you better get that in writing from FCA

read what your forum vendor for Chrysler warranty says

Hello, It would apply "IF" the tires are only 1 size bigger than what the original window sticker stated, and the lift is 2 inches or less.
Thanks,
Rodney

Well, it's true. FCA will warranty the parts and labor on any genuine MOPAR accessory that an FCA dealer installs.

Not for part numbers that begin with a P and that lift does

Don't take anyone's word over the internet, don't take a promise from a salesman or service rep because they might not be working there when a problem arises....get it in writing.

Just verify with your dealer/FCA/warranty company and get it in writing about your warranty, it’s not just the lift it’s the tire size and the strain that puts on items too.

Got mine in writing and I realize those P numbers may be exempt unless the warranty is expressly stated on the service ticket.

They changed either the policy or the part numbers at some point.

A lot of what you get or don't get depends on FCA's policy at the time.

Those folks need to make up their damn minds, IMHO.
