I have a good list of bolt-ons (LTH, Magnaflow exhaust, free flow cats, y - pipe, 87mm throttle body, 4.56 rear gears, custom hemifever tune, cold air intake) but I'm lacking low end torque. I think the Magnaflow cans and y-pipe might be letting too much air out, not enough back pressure. I mainly use my truck for city driving but I need more low end power, truck feels dead below 3k, barely moves unless I really step on it...Any suggestions on mods that will improve low end engine response?

You need a cam. One that is designed for more torque then topend. I used to have a Comp Cam that was a torque monster. I could definitely feel the torque increase and was way fun around town. Not to mention it would lope hard af :). You could hit up Jay Greene for a custom grind or go out and get the cam I had directly from Comp Cam.
This is a video of my truck with that cam. Doesn't do it any justice but you can definitely here the lope when the cutouts are open in this video.

This is the cam card on that torquey cam, it was a 210x cam by KRC

A good cam will do it.

Or, you could put a reducer in your exhaust at the inlet of each muffler.

How much work goes into new cams? On the hemi, are you buying 4 new camshafts? Pulling the front end off the engine?

Thanks for all the feedback guys! Looks like I'm going to be in the market for a cam, I recently had my trans rebuilt and don't want to make any major changes (TQ) until I need to. Does switching cams have any long term negative effects on the block, any need to replace lifters or springs to 6.3 version?

It is one cam for the hemi. Whole front end of the engine comes off. Springs on the heads will need to be replaced as well, welp I guess that could depend on the cam. Pushrods will need to be replaced.

Damn sounds intense, don't think I could do that myself. Any idea what a shop would charge for the work? Where can I buy springs and rods? Does anyone have dyno results pre-post cam?

I would put a higher stall tq converter in there before looking into a bigger cam. There is no question that a proper cam will make more tq, but it will not show as much of a gain in off the line power as a 2800-3000 stall tq converter.

True a stall would help out a lot. Also more of a DIY project when compared to a cam install.

Cool, there's a few choices out there. Which TQ converter would work best with my current mods and still allow me to daily my truck in city?

Most popular is Edge 11" 2800-3000. You would be able to daily drive with almost any size stall. I have a 3800 stall I drive around town and on highway. Its not my daily anymore but the stall doesn't stop me from driving the truck in city or hwy.
