Low Wash Chime...

I have an 07 1500. About a month ago a "Low Wash" warning keeps popping up on my dash. What throws me off is that its not low...lol I've topped it off and it keeps telling me the same thing. Every time I turn the truck on, after about 5 minutes it chimes. Any advise??

Do you use the bug wash with rain X in it? If so, the sensor is coated and needs to be cleaned. Use a little dish soap with plain water next fill, or ??

I did use that rain x stuff.....damn!! lol ok ill try to empty it and use water with dish soap. Thanks!

I had this same issue with an other car of mine and all I use is rain-x. it was a pain to take out the sensor and clean it but i can concur that rainx does put a coating on the terminals which throws off the accuracy of the reading.
