Has anyone painted the lower chrome part of their front bumper and rear bumper?

lol....I paid my body shop to do it. If not done correctly, it will look like, well, ass. A LOT of sanding.

cheaper to buy new bumpers/covers or cheaper to have sanded/painted by a body shop?

The best way would be to have the chrome stripped from the bumper.

Stripping chrome, at least with my local shops, is pricey. Might be better off getting off brand new bumpers!

It can be done...just a **** load of sanding. This is bed liner, but same concept
