Just a little information for everyone with my experience on lowering my 2016 RT. I use the Belltech 2/4 drop kit with springs, pan hard bar relocation , street performance shocks and sway bar link ends. Something I found nobody says about lowering the trucks is that after you lower the vehicle the rear end is 1 inch forward and not centered in the wheel well. Another bit of information I could not find prior to doing this is that once you lower it and the actual moves In order to fix it you need to replace both upper and lower rear control arms. this allows you to adjust the pinion angle and to push the axle back 1 inch. the arms are used in the back were Spohn adjustable arms. All totaled out to $1,100 for the drop. that does not include an adjustable pan hard bar at $200 should you need to center the axle. I personally have always had sport trucks so I can justify the cost making the truck what I want it. Some people might just be looking for the drop look, but there is much more involved to make it correct.

I have the same setup and it cost me 1600.00 CDN + labour. The ride is firm but not in a bad way. First show tomorrow so I will buff her up today and early Fri am. I love all the extra time I have to prepare for shows lol

Does any one know if there any company's making a fixed lowered control arms? It's like $700 for the kit from Spohn.

I'm glad you are sharing your experience with your truck. I have some info to add to this thread, This is info I've gathered over a few Months while I waited for my R/T to arrive. I purchased the Belltech 964 Front and rear springs w/o the shocks, I got the QA1 shocks instead of the Belltech shocks.
This is what I came up with if anyone wants to add to it...

Sphon rear Upper control arms
Spohn rear lower control arms
adjustable panhard bar
Shorter front sway bar end links
QA1 Front (TS514) and rear(TS905) shocks

What is the long term effects to the truck if you did not get the Shohn control arms and panhard bar? I'm running the BT 2/4 kit that's all

from another thread...

The relocation bracket is needed regardless of which panhard bar you are running. The bracket is what keeps the panhard bar parallel to the axle. The adjustable panhard bar is what allows you to center the axle from side to side.

If you're lowered it will still shift as the bar is not sitting perfectly parallel to the axle but it's less of an issue than without the bracket, the bracket helps quite a bit but it's not perfect and most I've seen are still off center a bit. Ideal scenario is the bracket with the adjustable bar but just the bracket will be a lot better than without.

and some good reading...

Yes I read that all, thanks. I just don't know a lot about this stuff. I'm sure there are people are not spending the money to do this. I want to do it right.

That's the real important thing "doing it right". Sure, anybody can cut stock springs and get the ride height they want but setting up the suspension properly is a completely different story. The Spohn adjustable arms and panhard bar are a must to get you in the proper alignment, line of thrust, and pinion angle. Any lower than 3/5 and you seriously need to look at the frame or axle mounts in the rear to give you proper clearance as well as a comfortable suspension travel. If you want to do it right then PM me or Matt and we can get you setup with the stuff you need.

This is what bugs me about mine and not knowing how far its actually dropped, even with the belltech bumps I have about 3/4"-1" travel which is awfully tight... And the control arms I just bought are replacements to the ones the dealer took off come to find out.....

I'd like to drop the rear another 1/2" but I think it will rewire a C-notch and I don't really want to do that... I kinda feel if I'm going to do that I might as well just backhalf the truck and get then 345's I'd love to have fir back there.

Keep an eye on your lower control arm, very common for them to contact the upper control arm frame mount. It's not bottoming out, and the contact isn't really felt but you are hitting the frame and "self clearancing" the control arm.

UPDATED:
Finally got the upper and lower rear Spohn arms mounted. Adjusted the axle back to center in the opening, set pinion angle to +1.0 degree. All the vibration is gone and everything feels better now. Next comes the sway bar and adjustable panhard bar.
