Such beautiful trucks! Positively LOVE the Max Steel color.
Dad's truck is a Max Steel 6.4 Crew Cab.

I think if I had to describe it to anybody who hasn't seen the color in person I would say it's a greyish-blue metallic. Very rare to find a color that you can look at over and over and still not know how to describe it to people.

The 1st gens had a color very similar to this, called Gunmetal Blue Metallic. My parents had a Ramcharger that color and everyone loved it.

Yes it is. I have to wash mine all the time. But once cleaned up I don't think there is a better looking color on this truck.

Dad and I are having a competition to see who gets more annoyed keeping their truck clean.

I've owned my truck for a little over 2 months and I have probably washed it at least 10 times. I had to clay bar the truck because of over spray paint from morons painting lines on the road. I was not very happy to see white over spray all over my truck when I got home.

When I bought mine, it came down to this color and red. I got the red one because they wanted $24,000 for a new one and my red one was sitting there with 11,000 miles on it for $17,000. Hard to pass up the $7,000 savings. If I would have bought new, I think maximum steel would have been the choice. BTW, red is so easy to keep clean, at least around here. The dirt is red so its hard to tell when dirty and always looks good from 3 feet away! haha Good looking trucks Guys!

I'm right there with you. Such a pain, but my black looks SOOOOOOO good clean. It's like having a high maintenance lady - a pain in the **** 99% of the time but man they look good.
