What equipement do I need to measure the amount of vacuum my engine is producing at idle? Is this something I can do easily and where do I measure from as I haven't paid any attention to any of my vacuum lines other than those around the brake booster.

I think you can pick up a cheap vac gauge and t it into the brake booster line. Are measuring vac for the new cam or having issues?

Thanks....OK sure thats what I thought! Got plenty of old tuning type tools but never had one of those pumps/guages, easy enough to buy. one and sure I can find room in one of my 3 roller cabinets...(LOL>>>.....Snap-On...no substitute and Tiawan spells disaster....and a vixen is a file).

Yes Kenneth, I need to know for the Cam? what Vacuum is being pulled at idle for the base Tune for a PSC1-003 purchase (avail for between 10 and 18 Hg I beleive). no issues to report 8.5 MPG today but -22F and -30 celcious with a wind chill of -40 where they both meet.

I have talked myself out of going DSP for now as I wanna keep my shifts over 6K...and thats all I'll say for now. Gears First then I will tweak from there.

Trup...LOL...yes I had one of those Guages in my Cleveland Powered T-Bird back in my First On Race Day (FORD) days!

Greg with you being an 03 does your AI show vac and instead of Danny having to get both an Wideband and the Vac gauge? I think the OBII port shows that when the Snap On Solstus is hooked into it, wondering if the AI will also.

Kenneth,
My AI doesn't read Vacum from the OBII port. I looked at the AI website and with the addition of sensor kit (Part # Sens022) Vacum can be read using the AI gauage. The AI allows for two Anolog inputs. I have my Wide band on Anolog #1. The vacum sensor could be run on Anolog #2. Of course Danny could run the same setup.

That way there is no misunderstanding.
