Mega cab grille guard - will it fit?

Hey guys. I have an 06 1500 mega cab, and I know the mega cabs were built on a 2500 frame. So will a grill guard for a 1500 still fit my truck? I found a great deal on a cattleman grille guard and just wanna make sure. Thanks

I doubt it... the frame mounts will be different.

With the right amount of work, you can make anything fit lol... So it really depends on how good of a deal it is I guess

Lol. Well it's a nice cattlemans grille guard in good shape. They sale new for like 575 and I'm getting it for 150. It's just like the westin HDX guards. It's worth it too me. Do ya know if the mounts will be that different? Thanks for your help bud.

That is a pretty good deal.

No problem... I know on your 2500 style frame, it will go behind the tow hooks in the bumper. On the 1500, I have no idea. I would almost go and look at it, take some measurements, and see how it would work.

Hmm. I don't have to hooks though. Just has a cap in the bumper where they would be. Unless they covered them up. Ok I'm supposed to be buying the grille guard Friday, so it will be easier for me to know what to measure once I have it and the mounting bracket.
