I have never thought aftermarket bumpers looked good on rams, until i saw this one. Of course, if i build it, it will be different. But this seems like a good platform to build from. What do you guys think? I just dont think tubes look good on front bumpers.

This is my personal favorite as like you said, it isn’t tubular, but I love how minimal it is for more clearance. But yes, I think you could definitely build one easy enough, however maybe look into “move bumpers” they sell a DIY weld kit that’s oretty cheap for the set up

I can build the bumper out of 3/16 mild steel plate for $150. However it would be easier to use a pre cut bumper kit, i enjoy cutting my own pieces, and fabbing my own. Here is a Jeep JK bumper i helped my buddy build. Its just tacked in this pic, not welded out yet.

I can weld but I don’t think I could fab it myself from scrap. That’s awesome!

As long as ya got a 6” grinder and some wafer wheels, you can cut 3/4 the way thru, and make your bends, then weld them. Just have to make nice cuts and have some angle finders to match angles. Its not bad.

If you can weld, and want a kit, try "Move" bumpers. Those bumpers look great. I was going to go that route if they offered a logo delete. I hate logos.

Yeah that’s exactly what I was looking at that can get me front and back for 925$. I was also thinking I might just cut a flat plate and weld overtop the logo :33:

I really like this bumper i posted, but would like to change a few angles. Im the kinda guy that likes to see a photo, then be able to make changes that i like.
Poison spyder makes “$800 rock sliders for jeeps, so i made a set similar to them, but changed a few things. Both of these pictures are the ones I made. Rough, and finished.

I've seen some of your work and have no doubt you'll be able to make one. Only advice I have is pick out the lights etc you want on it and have them on hand so you can build to suit everything you want it to do.

I think a 20” lightbar would be plenty, and somehow incorporate stock style light housings into the bumper to jeep the costs down, and keep it legal. Plus I think two sets of front fog lights looks tacky.
They make covers for light bars, i had to have one on my 50” curved bar in pa. So that way ya dont have to worry about the law pulling you over, and it will pass inspection.
