After all the other modifications I completed today - threads here: http://www.ramforum.com/f41/let_mods_begin-40340/ and here: http://www.ramforum.com/f44/modification_day_my_ram-40349/, there was one that the S/O demanded.
At night it was difficult for her (and, to be totally honest, me) to 'see' the step up bar(s) for entering the truck.
I had purchased two 6' led 'strips' a few weeks ago (purchased at Auto Toys locally for around $30), and thus had the necessary materials on hand to remedy this issue.
The LED's are bright in the picture, but more so upon opening the truck door(s).
I tagged the interior lights for power - they have a higher density light (read higher voltage supplied) when the doors are opened.
The LED's 'shut- off' as the truck door is closed in concert with the interior lights.
A simple, and efficient, method to light up the night - not to mention keeping the S/O happy.
