mufflex?

im looking at putting on a mufflex 18" single in single out on my outdoorsman. i am assuming that i will need to extend the tail pipe if i eliminate the resonator can that in near the end ? am i right in my thinking

yup, you will have to weld in some pipe.

Nice choice...the 18” with the resonator deleted will sound nice. Yes you will have to get a extend on tail pipe to the rear if that’s where you want it, can’t do swept side due to the tire being in the way.

I have the 14” and wil the resonator on it was too quiet. Just removed the resonator tail pipe section and have been running it like that. Probably going to end up putting a 90 degree dump at the muffler and see how that sounds

Yeah, I did something similar with my '14 Big Horn CC with the 6.4L. Put on the muffler, cut off the resonator, made up the pipe section, painted it black and it had a small downturn at the rear.

This is a clip I just took of the resonator removed and just straight exit from the muffler. My phone is not doing it justice...I have to try to take a better sound clip. Going to looking into getting the dump for it this weekend.
