Man...this is getting rampant. And we know they aren't selling one as good looking as yours!

I have had it happen twice to me and I called them on it and told them that if they wanted to use my truck I was first off never asked and second I did not agree to any price for the use of my truck as a model. In short my truck ended up being removed from the sites and I never saw any money.

I had it happen a few times with my S2000 and with my Jeep

Unless they were selling junk, I email them and tell them its generally considered at least a courtesy to ask permission, and often to pay for the rights to use someone else's photo of a vehicle that does not belong to them for profit.

if they are selling junk (one time was an "electric supercharger" they used my S2000 for) then I raise hell and tell em no way unless they pay up.

I guess it would depend upon a few things to me.

A. Where did they get the picture? Was it a social networking site, photobucket, was it a professional picture? Was it water marked?

B. What company, and what are they selling.

I'd hate to have my truck be the spokes model for some product from a second rate company.

I'd raise hell regardless of site if I was never asked.

I would seriously have to consider raising hell. Maybe if it was a great site with legit products, I would maybe try talking them into a discount or something, but I think I would hafta make them take it down if it wasn't something I approved of.
