Ordered mine through MOPAR online. They have a link on their site. Was pretty easy and straightforward. I punched in a bunch of numbers and it was activated. Since I activated right after I purchased the truck... I contacted FCA and they worked a deal with me on the map update because the map files that come with it when you activate navigation are from the year your truck was built. Mine was a 2016 so the map files were dated and I needed the update. Some people said they got navigation cheaper from some other online place but I can't tell you where.

So why not contact your dealer or go online to get the NAV activated? That's all you really need to do. Oh, and pay a fee for it as well 'cause it ain't free.

There's no plug in module or parts needed and no one can "remove" their NAV and send it to you.

There used to be 3rd party places that could activate it for around $300 (that's how I did mine) but they do not appear to be doing it any more. I'm guessing FCA cracked down on them?

I have a Ram 2014 Outdorsman with the 8.4N Uconnect system Hardware part number 68224525AM. I downloaded and flashed the 17.11.07 update a few months ago and the 17.43.01 both from the Uconnect website. Upon installing 17.43.01 update I did a factory reset and lost my navigation I have a “Naviserver: Undefined” error and database is missing. I have contacted Uconnect unhelpful, except to tell me to take it to the dealer and said the unit had to be replaced. Everything else works fine. I also noticed the gpssetting for the clock is also missing. I tried to flash the 17.11.07 but can go backwards. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

YOU NEED TO DO A VIN RESTORE ON THE TRUCK. NEEDS TO BE DONE AT THE DEALER. WEHAVE TO PREFORM THIS SOMETIMES WHEN INSTALLING NEW RADIOS. TELL THE DEALER YOU NEED A PROXY REALIGN.
