Need a few ideas

OK, this past week I have added nerf bars from 3rd Strike Performance, I have installed 2" wheel spacers I bought from Musclemckeester, I have baked and painted my headlights, I have debadged, and I had already tinted my taillights. Truck was bought with the leveling kit and t bars are cranked some with 305/70/17 nitto tires. I have looked at the diy section several times. But now I am looking for some cheap ideas to further customize. I would like to do the led dash conversion, but am not confident enough to solder some of the lights involved. Any ideas or suggestions?

Was wanting to have wheels painted, once I save up enough. Not real big on plasti dip. Already have a K&N replacement filter using factory box. Read on here somewhere that does as good as CAI. But thanks for the ideas and please keep them coming.

Maybe exhaust or window tint?

Already pushing the window tint in IL. I have 5% on back window and top of windshield, and 40% on front doors. Also, forgot to say, I cut my exhaust off at the back of the cab and installed a turn down. Just running a Convertor and a short straight pipe. Sounds really good. Still needing more ideas. Thanks for the suggestions and keep them coming.

What's the tint limit there? I'm running 15% front I believe. With 5% back.

All I can think of is painting. Such as interior and engine bay.

Tint in IL is 35% I believe.

dont know about the 5.9 but i had the the drop in k&n filter on my hemi and switched to the dual filter "cai" and it made a noticable difference

Agreed, on the hemi the factory box, hoses and resonator are much more restrictive that a CAI, drop ins dont do much.

DIY CAI. Since you have the 5.9 you might want to check out the DIY section on the 2nd gen area.

Sounds like some good ideas here. My personal favorite is using plasti-dip. Anything you want turned flat black, inside or out, stuff is awesome. That's about as cheap as you can get there with no prep materials needed.

With 5% tint on back, IL says 50%. Otherwise it is 35% on all windows. Would like to get all these, especially cover and gears, but with Christmas around the corner, I am looking for cheap mods. I am a single parent with 2 boys that "need" lol everything. But thanks for all the great ideas.

Paint. You can paint stuff interior wise...just to accent. You can do your calipers. You can do underhood stuff too. All easy, and cheap.
