Assuming you got all the lock rings off the studs, may need to give a tap with a mallet to free em up.

Had no rings on mine surprisingly. I called my buddy who's a mechanic and he said adjust the shoes or beat the crap out of the rotor. So I tried adjusting, didn't work. So then I laid down on my cart and said no more mr nice guy and swung my hammer twice at that rotor hard as possible and POP! It came off. Didn't give a crap about rotor since I was replacing anyway.

All done thank The Lord.

Yes its the brake shoes underneath that cost more than the rotors and pads combined. Given the age you should consider replacing at least the 2 springs that keep them in a good return position or keep em loose on re-assembly and don't use your parking brake.

I never use my parking brake. I think only time I ever do is when working on truck, only when I have front lifted. I did mess with the adjusting which I hope didn't screw it up alot. How hard is it to replace springs? Do I gotta take it all apart again?

Its not hard but you need long curved needle nose. If its already back together don't worry about it. What happens is they rust to the point that they break off and then you get some rolling noise back there. Just clean them off with break cleaner and if they look good and spring back when you pull the shoes outward then no worries. One of mine broke so I changed one and because its a PIA I have the other side ones in my tool box for next time its apart. You adjust the adjusters like you would for a drum brake set-up. I snug them so they just touch when turning the rotor then back off a notch before fitting the caliper assy.
