Need new key Fobs

I need new key fobs for my '09 RAM and the wife's '09 Nitro R/T. Anyone know if there are any key fobs that can be programmed by the owner, and not need to be taken to the dealer? Ebay seems to have a ton, but I don't want to choose the wrong one. Any info will be helpful.

Only way you can program a new FOB is by having the 2 sets for each truck/SUV.

No other way of doing it.

Holy sheet, he lives lol. I think they need a special program and only the dealer will have access to that.

NO you NEED 2 fobs for each vehicle!

Did you ever get it figured out, I was thinking about buying a programmer on ebay.

For an '09, you can only program it yourself if you have 2 FULLY Functional fobs. Otherwise it's a locksmith or the dealer. Locksmith is usually cheaper. Around here they charge around $100.

I say FULLY functional as I have 2 fobs, one works for starting the truck, but none of the buttons work, and everything works on the other. Picked up a spare fob, and tied the instructions, and no go.
