Hi, I am new to the forum and not really good with trucks can change a tire and oil about it lol. But my question is my truck every now and again when it's cold starts but doesn't stay on unless I hold the gas down and let it run at high rpms for a while to warm it up. It's weird never did it before or even when it was like -18 out but on Christmas night it did it and this morning but then when I got off work it started up and idled fine. I put some seafoam in the tank and filled it up. I'm thinking the idle control valve might be a bit dirty considering when I bought it the guy had it sitting for 3 months without ever driving it. So any thoughts or advice would be appreciated. Sorry for the long post.
