New 4th gen owner

i used to have a 03 1500 hemi that I drove to 200k miles before selling it to a buddy. I then bought a 07 3500 4x4 6spd Cummins with the 6.7 , I fully deleted it and tuned it. That was a awesome truck but around 200k miles it started Nickel and dimming me which wasn't too bad, but the nail in the coffin was when my baby was born and the car seat wouldn't fit without me moving the seat very far forward. Sooo, last week I got myself a 2016cc lone star 1500. I had to sell my 4 horse gen trailer and go down to a 2 horse bumperpull, but I absolutely love this truck so far!! I hope to take this one to 200k miles also. With that said, what are yalls fav. First mods. I know I'm doin a Carven exhaust, but what else?

Welcome to the forum. Most HEMI owners do an intake, exhaust and a programmer to their trucks. Another popular mod is the Pedal Commander and a custom tune.

In your case, tuning your truck means you will also have to get an unlocked PCM. You can keep yours for those trips to the dealer or receive credit by using yours as a trade-in against the new unlocked unit.

Hemifever and Moe's Performance offer package deals on the programmer and PCM if you are interested.

If you mod your motor, you risk warranty problems.

Welcome!!! I have a 2017 big horn. Best mods for me were deezee tailgate assist, petal commander and interior LED lighting.

Ramm5.7 did you buy a kit for the led lights or did you just buy individual led bulbs?

A kit from " The Auto LED". Facebook or interweb. Not as cheap as some have paid but work out of the box, no resistors needed, and excellent customer service. I had a issue with 3rd brake light and they sent 3 replacements. 1 direct swapout and 2 new style. I have all interior, 3rd brake n cargo, license plate and reverse LEDs from them
