Hey guys,
New member here from Ohio. Previously was on another forum but it's kind of dead. Hoping this one is more lively.
I bought my 2011 Ram 1500 about 6 months ago. It has the 5.7, Brilliant Black Pearl, quad cab.
It's currently in the shop (going on 3 weeks now) for head replacement.
I'm not exactly sure what happened but it started leaking oil after I had the manifold bolts replaced under warranty. The dealership must have screwed something up because they are eating the cost.
A few things I've already done;
Sanded and painted some poorly mudded bubbles around the rear wheel wells.
Put color matching pocket style no-rivet fender flares on.
Sanded the lower body, coated with por15, painted about an inch of rustoleum bedliner.
Updated the uconnect system
2.5 inch rough country leveling kit
Got some new wheels and 33/12.5-20 tires. -- still waiting to install
Plans-
Possibly a 3 inch lift for looks
New drivers seat cover (seat is ripping -- vinyl repair kit for now)
Window tint the front doors
Cold air intake
Diablosport tuner
Remove the RAM 1500 (or atleas straighten... its crooked from the wonky body work done previously.
New antenna (it snapped off in the carwash)
