012.JPGhave been all over dodge forums since i got my truck, just not this one lol. Need some help on my blacking out project though. Bought an aftermarket oem type grille and had it painted to match, just dropped off my nfab nerf steps to be linex'd today, also installed black nightrunner headlights.
What i need help on is the chrome bumpers, can't decide whether to have them linex'd or powdercoated, what do u guys think? Here are some pics to help further the decisions

Sorry, thought i posted the pics right. They pop up when i pull up the thread. I asked my local powdercoater how much to do the bumpers and he quoted me about $200 a bumper, sound right?

My wheels were about $90 with a discount would've normally been $130 each. So I'd imagine that's about right. I'll let someone else chime in on that.

Do u guys think the plasti dip black out for the wheels would be a waste of time?

We try to be as helpful as possible. ;). Mine was also blacked out (Hence the name), but I went the painting route. Luckily painting is free for me, because with all the rocks and chips the front bumper and grille will need to be done about once a year. Powder coating should hold up much better, and also should have a pretty good warranty.

wheels are aluminum stockers. Still unsure if i want to mess with them or not. I guess if i powdercoated my bumpers the wheels would look out of place though being the only chrome/silver part left on the truck. Really wanted a set of black rockstars or monsters a while ago but just couldn't decide what i wanted, so i put the wheel project on hold

welcome to Ram forum. I agree to def. powder coat the bumpers. Go for the plasti dip on the wheels. If you don't like it.....peel it off.
