This is very similar to the Uconnect 12.1 display for law enforcement vehicles (a factory option on Police Interceptors). It's been around for almost 2 years and is optional. I haven't heard about this being an option for non LE vehicles. The reason for the vertical design is there are two different screens, one displaying radio/climate controls and the other displaying the police mobile digital computer input.

There was one in a Charger my brother (cop) drove for a while. They are huge!

Cool looking but Android-based...wonder what/if options for Apple Carplay integration. Happy with my double-din Kenwood headunit. It does all I ask it to do. Worry too much dependency on a HUD like this new unit makes DYI repairs very difficult. Maybe my next truck
