Post up some photos when you can. I’m considering the wheel/tire upgrade. Plus I’m curious if anything rubs.
Well, I'm fairly confident the offset is too much without a lift. Sticks out too far for my liking anyway, but I don't think it will clear the front backside wheel well when turning. They have that too tight there. Add an inch to the tire and a couple inches farther offset, and it's likely going to rub, especially if you hit any bump. I shouldn't have ordered the wheels before checking that clearance out.

Now I need to find somebody that wants to buy these awesome Black Rhino Armory wheels.

image.jpeg I have the 35" M/T's with the 2" offset fuel wheels they don't rub even off road but look like they would. The factory 2" PW lift helps I'm sure.
I lover the stance, it's not too much but noticeable.

What is the actual offset number on those wheels? The Armory wheels are +6mm. I think the factory wheels are +47mm.

I'm not sure of the final number, only that they stick out an additional 2" beyond factory wheels and are 2" wider as well.

They are the Fuel Trophy, right? Looks like the 17" are +6 and the 18" are +1, so they should be just like mine. Hmm, maybe there's hope. Guess I just need to bite the bullet and have one mounted to find out. But mine look too far out to me since the tire will stick out another 1.5 inches from the wheel. 8f07387713c96fd24183b6f6bf606104.jpg

Okay, I had to see what it looked like so I had 1 tire mounted on the wheel. Didn't stick out as bad as I thought it might, but there is very little clearance on the back side of front tire when turning. Any bump as you are turning and it will surely rub.

That's about the same as mine. I heated up the plastic part that's close to rubbing then used a piece of 2x4 to push the plastic closer to the door. Their isn't anything behind it and didn't take much effort to get another 1 1/2" clearance. You are right they are fuel trophy's 18".

Great tip, thanks. I'll have to try that out. I'm sitting here waiting as they install the tires now.

Do any of you know the exact tire and wheel specs on the current PWs? Cant seem to find anything set in stone, want to be able to compare stock to setups id like to get so I can see the difference. Thanks.

I looked forever to find the specs for my 2018. I'm fairly sure the rims are 17x8 with a +47mm offset. The tires are 285/70R17.

This is with the AMP steps down.
I was seriously considering those, but I am afraid that with all the beach driving I do that sand will work it’s way into the hinges and motors if the steps and amp will tell me to get bent on a warranty claim.

Thanks that's what I ended up coming to as well. Really want a PW but cant decide the wheel / tire / lift combo. I really like the stance of the Macho Power Wagon with the 4' lift and 37s but no one makes a 4" lift. I feel 37s are to stuffed on the levels. May be stuck with a level and 35s. Then the internal debate of 17s or 20s. I personally think 18s are ideal but cant find many good options. Then there is the debate of after market front bumpers lol. Seriously wish they would just sell all the parts from the Macho Wagon. The front bumper is perfect, love the roof rack and bed rack setup and the stance is gorgeous.

Yep, that macho PW looks great. I went with 18s and 35s. It does rub slightly at times up front when I turn. I'll probably put a level kit on it at some point.

I like the AEV and Trailready bumpers, but can't justify the cost right now.
