Well Me and my wife traded in her 2017 challenger gt. We bought a 2019 ram limited. We had less then 200 miles on it and The radio started going in and out, It says antenna not connected. Next Front dome (courtesy) lights not working. Next surround camera not coming up only backup camera. We have owned over 10 new and 10 used Chrysler products (never had any problems with the new ones). This one seems like it is going to be a dog.

By the picture you have tow mirrors so you wouldn't have surround camera per this thread: http://www.ramforum.com/threads/2019-ram-buyers-please-read.119407/#post-1716803

There was some incorrect window stickers put on trucks with the tow mirrors that said they also had the surround view camera system.

The other stuff sucks but not really that big of deal.... it happens and the dealer should be able to take care of it.

BTW, super sharp looking truck!!!!

wow 18 minute response. This is a big change for the model and with the change comes risk of problems. No risk no reward. I've purchased big change models of vehicles in the past and have dodged that bullet. I plan on going for it and getting the 19. I like your truck by the way. My hope is that Ram does care and will make you happy quick. From my research it seems like Ram has tested much to prevent problems. Watching this thread with great interest. I've read everything I can find on the 19 and these issues are the first problems I've seen.

On the radio.....was it local or satellite stations?

I think it is awesome that Darlene from @ramcares jumped on this so quickly. It demonstrates FCA is focused on customer satisfaction. I am not in the market for a new truck (well, until the 5thGen 2500 comes out), but this brand is solid and I am a loyal owner.

No doubt Ram will have a few hiccups in the 2019, but it’s great to know they are listening to their customers.

I had RamCares reach out on an issue that I was having and found them to be EXTREMELY helpful. I'm sure they'll take care of you. Really sharp rig by the way.

It isnt RAMcares that has issues, its dealerships you have to fight with on the back end lol

Yep, frustrating for sure. Hopefully it's something simple like a loose connection or something not PDI'd properly.

Dealer service departments often are not fully up to speed on brand new models either, which can add another element to it.

Super nice looking truck!!

Satellite radio is all we have used, Not sure about the regular radio. It's not from being in a garage or under a overpass it happens out in the wide open randomly.

So far they seem to be on top of it, I have a appointment for May 12th to have all of it checked.

You don’t have the surround camera system. You have tow mirrors.

Since I was told it was there and charged for it, It needs to be there. I now see from another post that it was a mistake from FCA on the window sticker. Since I was charged I want it installed or more reasonable a refund.

If you financed the truck. Don’t forget to factor in interest you’ll be paying for that additional charge, throughout the life of the loan, when totalling what they owe you.

Unfortunately, from my understanding, it cannot be simply "installed" as it is a complex system of cameras. They would have to replace both of your exterior mirrors with the regular non-tow ones that have the camera installed, and then reprogram the computer to accept them, if its even possible. And that is the minimum complexity I can think of, there may be more to it. The more likely scenario is the refund.

They may just be able to redo the paperwork with the lower amount. Mine did a few days after, when I told them to get rid of the 3rd party extended warranty they snuck in there after being repeatedly told I wanted the Chrysler one. If they cannot, then +1 for what jrod said.

That's good, I'm sure its something minor, could even be just a software flash needed for the radio

How would you not know it doesn't have 360 camera? That is something I would have played with before signing papers. It can be added aftermarket for most cars - the problem is integrating into the screen. If a piece like the CH41 works on the 19s, then this would be fine.
