so I went to the gym, drive 5mi to the store went in, and when I came out the truck said I had no gas (actually had a bit over quarter tank). The tank needle stayed on E. Turned truck off and back on and eventually after a few tries it went to the correct tank level. Stopped at Auto Zone and they read the code P463 “high input fuel sensor” you guys have anything like that happen. Truck has just under 20k and is running good still. I didn’t clear the code cuz I want to run it to the closest dealer this week so they can see. Let me know what you all think.

I would clear the code and see what happens rather than hassle with the dealer at this point.

Agreed. Clear it and see if it comes back. You might save a trip to the dealer.

One thing I noticed is that the truck will not go into “eco” mode. Maybe tomorrow after I get the kids to school I will disconnect the battery and see what happens.

Also agree that at this point clear the code and see if it happens again. Even if you went to dealer now there is a very good chance nothing would show since its all working fine now.

It will clear the code. If a problem persists, the code will return after 2 or 3 key cycles.

If you're still under you're 3/36 warranty I wouldn't even mess with it, I'd take it to the dealer, if nothing else to make a record of it.

Hello Trooper2,

You've got some great advice here. If you do decide to take it into the dealership, please let us know. We're available via direct message and would be happy to escalate this to a Case Specialist.
