So I have 4 pcm here that I have grabbed from the wrecking yards. I didn,t take note of the engine sizes, they are all v8 tho. How do I tell wkich are 5.2 or 5.9? Thanks.
write down the part number & serial number on each one.
Then post them up. Someone here may know what's what. You can also call the part numbers in to a Ram dealership and see if they can still look them up. Lastly, some online refurbished PCM sellers may have some information.

There are a couple ways to tell, but they all require knowing production numbers. There might be an indication in one of the numbers on there that indicates which flash and by extension which engine it was for. But it'd take either someone who sees a ton of these like someone who is a tuner, or a dealer who MIGHT be able to look it up. Without the vin, you're kind of screwed otherwise. For future reference tag everything with the Vin, I use bulk packages of tags like this.
