Finished up my light bar for mounting my 6.5" PIAA's behind the grill. Now I just need to route the wiring and figure out a good place to mount the switch. Hope you all enjoy these pics.

Looks good man. Wish I had the time and skills to do this for mine.

Here's where I mounted the switch for my Hella's on my bull bar

I thought that's what was there but mine didn't come with fogs. There was just a blank plug there on mine

If I can figure out what the 3 wires are that run into the PIAA switch are for I might just cut that one off and tap into the factory fog light switch.

Unless anyone else has any better ideas.

Well after sitting in the drivers seat for a while looking around for a good place to mount this PIAA switch that is on the PIAA harness and came up with zilch. Its basically an on/off push button switch that you use double sticky tape and put it anywhere you want.

What I'd like to do is wire it to the factory fog light switch(if the factory fog switch will handle it). Since my 97 doesn't have any empty factory slots available to use.

Has anyone done this with theirs? And if so how did you go about doing it? Still trying to figure out the PIAA wiring.

PIAA switch has 3 wires coming out of it. Red, black and white which run to a connector. Then out of the connector is the Black, white and the red turns to white. The red that turned to white I know by the PIAA wiring diagram on their site is ran to +12v switched and the other white and the black run to the PIAA relay.

Here is the PIAA wiring

My mopar fog light kit came with a similar switch. I wired it in to the low beams and just hid the switch near the obd connector

Would be easy to do, shipping might be a bit due to size. Shoot me a pm and we can hash something out if your serious.

Hell if they're not too bad to make and shipping isn't a pain, I'd take one once I had the extra cash lol

Here is how to do 4 bulbs and have 2 hi beams and 2 low beams...

As for the Cummins it doesn't have the room behind the grill like the 5.9L gasser for mounting... I like the idea of the bracket I might convert the 96 Dodge over to it.
