This is my ram’s daily duty pretty much. I take everything in and out of the truck at least twice a day lately.

35’s don’t seem real practical but all out steep hills and driveways in NC are way easier to get up wet, dry, muddy, or even ice and snow covered with my mud tires. I can just creep up inclines now. Check the pic doesn’t do it justice but I can’t tell you how much easier it is.

Converted my 2013 RAM 1500 Sport with my own custom design rack that fits the Rambox. Planning on giving the Sport a lift and add a winch - would love to see if anyone did that on a Sport for inspiration.
Tent is a Tepui, boat is a 10ft Lowe Jon boat.
Gets me most fishing spots / places trailer won’t go.

Thanks!

Looks very functional! I like how the little awning on your tent looks like it goes out over the over roof storage, if you needed something kinda protected, could just leave it there over night... And those northern brown bears won't even have to stoop, the tent will just be right at face height. IN all seriousness though.. how do you like being up there? Makes a lot of sense in some areas, but crawling out in middle of night to potty, might not be overly fun... Seems that wind would rock the whole world, perhaps even just moving around? No doubt you know a few more.

Lol, yes. I can hug the bears out of the comfort of my tent.
The rack extension on the roof is meant to store stuff I can access from the tent. I usually have a box stored there with essentials.
Btw, the rack has plates predrilled for RotoPax.

Yeah it is rugged brown. Hence my name on here. I thought about one of those slides but my miter saw is too tall to have a tonneau and one of the slide outs. I would have to get a topper and I was trying to avoid that. I like the look of a tonneau, as well as people expect a topper to be full of tools so It is more of a target for stealing.

With your rack, with boat on top, you could put simple tarp over the boat and poles out on the four corners, and have a really good shelter for every one to gather under on extended forays into the wilderness. Hardly sacrificing any storage when it was not in use.

oh no, thats multiple shades of red, apparently the dealer had one of those mobile repair places come fix a dent in the door, and now half of the rear door is a brighter red, one of the things that really gets under my skin about this truck, eventually i will repaint the entire truck, my painter calls my truck "50 shades of red" ill give you a run down here lol...

pass rear door has two different colors, behind all emblems and "SXT" stickers is some obnoxious ghosting thats night and day obvious, front grill and bumper were both painted at different times and are slightly off shades as well, not really noticeable unless you are up close and looking, biggest thing about the truck is the new painted panels have no road wear damage, the rest of the truck was someones farm truck prior to me getting it...
