I picked up some fuel vapors , matte black machine finished and had a huge problem with brake dust not so much now I switched to ceramic pads just a pain in the you know what trying to get in the nooks and crannies to scrub the rimWhat kind of wheels do you have? Are they just dirty or are they stained or brake dust caked on or just routine maintenance?

I have no idea of the reliability of this source but: https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/how-a-magic-eraser-can-damage-your-car-by-kevin-woo^^^^Do these have any abrasive in them--generic magic Erasure type pads?
Jay
From the article.."Magic Erasers are made from melamine foam". So I would be careful. A proper wheel brush can work just as well without the worry.I didn't see any scratches, but kept soap on it all the time, happy with results. I also didn't need to put a lot of pressure, wheels were bad, I tried brushes in past etc and this so far is only thing that has actually made them look new again. Under what's it is made out of just says malamine sponge. Thanks for the info, I will be super careful not to scratch paint when I use these pads. Never thought they were abrasive, lucky I didn't mess up my wheels.
