Do you guys think $21,999 for a 2009 Ram 1500 SLT Crew Cab 4WD 5.7Hemi 46,467miles is a good price i'm really interested in the truck, its silver with Dark Slate medium graystone interior. And what are common issues with the 09's if any.

That don't seem to bad. I'd try for $20,000 even. If I was you. But you know how the truck market is in your area better than any of us will.

It's hard to tell because markets are different in different locations. The easiest way I find comparable prices is to try to find a similar truck on auto trader and see what other dealers want for them. To me 22k is a little high for a 7 year old truck although it has less than 50k witch is nice. Just research some in your area.

20k is about right for that mileage if it's in good condition.

I ran it across a few sites as a basic loaded SLT with no fancy features. Wasn't sure if it was a big horn or not.

I shot low and it came back at 19500 private party sale.

Get them to come down a little than a fair deal will be a good deal!

You got some good advice on price from members above.

I would be most worried about the reliability of used truck of this sort.

There could be issues with hemi engine manifold bolts, lifters, cylinders etc... Or any other things.

I highly recommend you to find a mechanic who you can trust, and who actually works a lot with Ram trucks, and knows their issues, and have that truck checked out well before you buy it, don't do it any other way as you may spend thousands $ fixing all of the bs issues... You don't know anything about that trucks past.

See if your local dealership may be willing to do inspection and check all the common issues, although not sure if you can trust their report but worth talking to them and later talking to tech who inspected your truck, if you can get them to be honest with you, they may be a good bet, I'd use them as second opinion..

Good luck

Seems high but I got my 2012 Laramie Longhorn CC 4x4 with 60k miles for 25k. I guess it just depends on the area.
