Putco Blade LED Tailgate Light Bar at Got Exhaust

Here you can see how I disconnected the stock harness and added in the Curt harness.

I used the crimp terminal to plug into the harness. this makes it fully plug and play. after this I went back and taped the white reverse wire to the loom and then secured all wires up and in a safe place. I really like the way this light looks and how easy the install was. Also I like how it will add to safety and also it will provide more reverse lighting.

Did you guys take out your 3rd brake light? In the last two pics the 3rd brake light wasn't showing up and it looked like you had the brakes depressed. About to hook mine up and was curious about having 4 brake lights

Not I. My 3rd brake light is a smoked Recon and the shot was taken at dusk. Here is another shot at full darkness.

I was looking at CBTBOB's camper top, maybe its not connected correctly? I know wiring those can be tricky because you dont want your 3rd camper top light to light up every time you use a turn signal.

Yes just dont hook up the 2 turn signal wires.

I also ordered the curt 55384 so it will be a nice clean and easy install

You are correct there is a newer version now with just the red and white. They still have the red white amber too.

I used a similar curt harness that I installed and took pics, its in this thread. Great way to make life easier and not have to cut into factory harness
