do these light bars cover the spare lowering key hole?

When I checked the light bar, I didn' even think to check the wire when the truck wasn' in reverse to see if the light went out. I just touched the light bar reverse wire to the prong on the plug while it was in reverse. It came on when I did.

After looking on my 2016 ram 2500 it is the Center wire on the plug. Also the wire is colored white in my 3 way adapter from Curt.

Yes they do. They provide clips also to attach the bar for easy removal. They are metal now versus the plastic ones prior.

Yeah, little bit. You’ll have to remove that plastic piece that surrounds the hole but yeah to answer your question, you’ll have to cover part of it up but if you put it up high enough, you’ll still have enough room to fit that rod in there if you ever have a flat.

This shows it's the center pin for reverse lights. Simple way to check, put the truck in reverse and use a test light to see what pin has power.

Screw in the center. I used a Vinyl 1/8th spacer behind them. Pre-drilled the holes.
