Went to test drive my first Dodge Diesel today. Have not made any decision yet because there was a pretty serious fuel leak above the fuel tank. Told dealer if they fix it It is sold, but have a question about codes.

Ran the codes off the info on the instrument panel.

Codes came up

P0563
P2509
Po251
P0088.

Truck seems to run fine, starts fine, plenty of power, no hard rattle and no check engine light. Are these deal killers? Can I clear them and recheck without a scanner?

P0563 - Potential causes for this code to set are:
High resistance in the cable between the alternator and battery - possible
Low resistance/open circuit between the alternator and the control module - possible
Alternator faulty – most common
Failed PCM - unlikely

P2509 - The causes for this DTC may include:
Battery failure
Poor connection at the batteries
Alternator is either overcharging or undercharging
Large voltage drop through loose or corroded cables
Electrical clutch fan short to ground
Bad connection at ECM
Leaking diode
Battery + positive shorted to ground or other circuits
Open or return ground circuit

P0251 - Causes for this P0251 code may include:
Open in the signal circuit to the Fuel Rack Position (FRP) sensor - possible
Short to voltage in the signal circuit to the FRP sensor - possible
Short to ground in the signal circuit to the FRP sensor - possible
Open in power or ground at FRP sensor - possible
Failed FRP Sensor - likely
Failed PCM - unlikely

P0088 - Potential causes of a P0088 trouble code may include:
Defective fuel pressure regulator
Faulty fuel rail pressure sensor
Shorted or open wiring and/or connectors in the fuel rail pressure sensor circuit
A bad PCM or a PCM programming error

Thanks for the input. I ended up passing on this one and bought a 2003 Ram 3500 dually 4WD in excellent shape.
