Question about Sirius XM Guardian subscription....

Bought my 2018 Ram 1500 back in September of 2017. It came with one free year of Sirius XM Guardian. About 4 days ago the Uconnect app on my phone showed I have no active subscription even though it it good through 9/2018. Now today I go to the Mopar website and it shows the same thing, even though it didn't yesterday(showed it good till 9/2018). Anyone else have this issue? Could this be connected to the botched update that recently came out? Anyone know a workaround or fix? Been on the phone with Sirius XM and they had me reset my radio, but that doesn't seem to have resolved anything.

when I go to "reactivate" it doesn't renew the sub till 9/2018. Weird! So the sub is still good...XM Sub.jpg

It may have been "turned on" when the truck was delivered to the dealer, not necessarily the day you took delivery.

I'd call your Ram service advisor for some assistance. Make sure their records show the correct date for activation (delivery day) vs. their delivery day.

It may have been "turned on" when the truck was delivered to the dealer, not necessarily the day you took delivery.

I'd call your Ram service advisor for some assistance. Make sure their records show the correct date for activation (delivery day) vs. their delivery day.
I verified with XM themselves, the trial sub is good thru 9/2018. They started a ticket and escalated it.

My suggestion was about making sure your head unit is correct with respects to the subscription as well.

Hopefully Sirius can fix the issue.

It is, online mopar.com and Uconnect show no active sub...

Same here. It seems something changed at one point and then reverted back. Wondering if this was related to FCA disabling a portion of SiriusXM to avoid the known rebooting issues on 2018 Uconnect 8.4 systems - the timing seems to align here. Unintended consequences at work.

I had the same issue on my charger a little while ago (before them disabling sirius travel link) and called them about it. They assured me it was still active and that it was just an issue with it not showing up on the mopar website. Not sure about the app. i do know that all my services still worked though

I have had the same issue with it sometimes showing my subscription as not active. Sometimes lasts a few days.

My bigger issue is that the remote features from the App and the Mopar site have not worked since I bought my truck in Dec. 17. I have been on the phone with them repeatedly trying to get it resolved.

You will find their tech support become superior when it is time for your renewal. Until then...good luck. Take it back to the dealership and tell them "FIX IT". They can deal with getting it right.
