I don't run big tires, but I do run the Federal Couragia MTs.. I absolutely love these tires. They're inexpensive, wear decently (especially good for an MT that tows a lot), and they really dig in the nasty stuff.. I don't off-road this much, but I've been in some sloppy **** while cutting firewood, and they've not let me down, even dragging the pumpkins through the mud and about a cord of wood in the bed..

They aren't too terribly noisy, either.. Oh, and for a set of 235-85-16s, was $544 shipped..

7000lb truck, 3000lb of stone in it, and a slightly wet back yard = disaster.

the tire, prior, was the Hankook DynaPro MT RT03s in a 305-75-16. Another awesome, sub-$200 tire.

I run Mickey Thompson MTZ's and I use to run the Mickey Thompson Baja Claws and I love the MTZ. Best traction I have found so far. I actually have the MTZ's on both my Ram and the wifes Burb.

Yeah I'm a huge m/t fan. I'm running **** cepek FC II now but they're more like racing slicks than mud tires now.

Your sig states you run 285s?

Have you checked out Pep Boys Dakota Definity M/Ts? Very Aggressive tread, good wear and not too noisy. I'm on my 2nd set of these.
I had Interco Truxus swampers on my truck once...only lasted about 16 months and were impossible to balance. They were great in the mud but tore easily on rocks. My Dakotas would easily out last them.
I would go with these or Kuhmos...I put Kuhmos on after the swampers desintegrated and ran them almost 2 years. There was still tread lsft when I removed them. I would buy Kuhmos again based on thier performance.

How agressive of a tire are you looking for, and what do you plan to do with your truck?

IMO they are the baddest looking, but I prefer IROKs, plus IROKs can be bought in a radial so they are more usable on the street than bias ply Boggers.

Well I.don't drive the ram much anymore I'm looking for mud performance. No rocks to crawl in Iowa, nor sand whoops to bomb. Just mud, everywhere. So is like to go as aggressive as possible. I'm running 285 now but want to go much bigger. I've got a leveling kit so I know I can run 35s but to for bigger I don't mind a little trim here and there.

The meanest by far, and also the most likely to destroy a front end lol had a set of 35x16 r16.5 on my old Ford and had to replace every bearing and bushing in the front 2 times in the 6 months I had them!!! Nice to have but not nice having to replace other things lol

Droid Incredible 2 on the move!!!

I think the 16" wide is what destroyed the front end, not that they were boggers :)

I was a solid out of a 77 f-100.

And I do believe them being 16 inches wide is wat did it.... The wheels were 14 inches so they were stretch to hell and back lol

There was a guy on another forum that ran 35x12.5 boggers who ended up breaking a front C while off roading...this after countless u-loint/axle destruction repars. He was in mud country.
Boggers really grip off road, and when they slip then grab under power, >BOOM<.
