Just installed the illicit Bolt on recentering kit. I had the Belltech 2\4 already. I asked the local custom shop where I had it installed to cut the spring in front and in the back for an extra 1" drop. He cut the back and it did lower it just fine. BUT now on every small bump my truck bottoms out. Does anyone have this problem with the illicit kit, and have taken off the bumpstops?

Another thing he didn't want to cut the front springs so he took off the rubber spring seat. Is that OK to do and has anyone heard of removing them so not to cut the spring? Is it safe?

Yeah, you can run the fronts without the rubber seats with no problems. Will just squeak a little bit being it's metal against metal. And I don't have bump stops in the rears anymore. Took them out when I went down 6" with the Inez Hotrods drop kit.
