I found another thread on here for a 3rd gen platform that was similar.

This is for a 2014 Ram 1500 Quad cab. It's hinged so you can fold it up and still use the seat.

The template is simple. I used a 5/8 inch sheet of plywood and cut it into a 28 inch by 59 inch section. I then cut that piece into an 18 inch by 59 inch piece and a 10 inch by 59 inch section. Hinge the two pieces together, staple or glue carpet onto it. I used a few scrap piece of wood as legs, put Velcro (scratchy side) on top of the wood legs so it sticks to the carpet, then a block of wood in the middle as support.

Very cheap and easy addition. You can cut a hole in the back piece as well to get to the storage underneath it.

I use my fold flat floor. My dogs only weigh 60 and 80 pounds. If I had a mastiff or similar, not sure if the plastic would hold up.

I've been looking for a fold-flat floor. This is ok, but the grand kids would catch themselves on the corners sticking out from under the seat. I have a mutt (wife always says Great Dane Mix) about 120lbs.

I have a 120 lbs St. Bernard.

My truck came with that fold flat floor, but he's too heavy for it. I just fold the seats up, leave the flat floor folded up, and he always just lays down fine anyways.

You can round the edges as needed to fit the rounded seat corners. My pups are about 170 pounds total and it holds them no problem!

Ive got 2 huskys. One is 80lbs, other is 55. I use the stock fold flat. Sometimes have a third (30lbs pup) without a problem

The plastic fold up is stronger than most think, three dogs and no problems.

I use the stock one with my 130lb Greater Swiss - no problems - she loves it.

I've concluded that my dog is just a clumsy idiot, if you guys are putting heavy dogs on the stock floor without issues.

I just picked up a 16' with the fold flat. Dogs seem to be sliding all over it! Is anyone putting something else on top to help with traction???

I found a square type doggie bed that is same size as fold flat, works great. Just keep it under bed cover if not needed, but my girls go almost everywhere I do so that is not often:roflsquared:

Give it a few trips. My dog learned to lay down rather than stand up. No more sliding.

My older one loves to see out the windshield. I feel like he is trying to tell me where to go sometimes. : )

Not to hijack your post but figured id throw in another option. We have a 13 Crew Cab and made this for our Boxer. He has to have his head laying on the center console or he feels left out. This also puts him high enough to look out the windows while laying down.

We have 3 Great Danes. One is 150 lbs, one is a little over 100 lbs. The 6 month old is 90 lbs. I just took the seat out and put plywood down with carpet on it. Nobody rides in the back except the dogs anyway.
