Installed map and dome lights in red. The kit also comes with two for the license plate, I put them in the foot wells instead. Got led strips as well for the front and rear floor, haven't installed yet, but it will definitely light it up much more. Crappy pics with the cell, but looks good in person and I like it, much more soothing for the eyes and looks proper on a blacked out truck!

Thanks for the link, I went ahead and ordered a set for myself. Now if I could only find a set of red puddle lights for my mirrors I'd be all set.

I got my kit installed and I dig it so far, waiting for it to get dark to really see how they look. I planned on using the ones for the license plate in the foot wells but discovered I only have a light in the driver's side foot well, looks like I need to find a light to install in the passenger's side.

They look good at night and are functional, but I have never installed before, so I have nothing to compare them to. Overall, the red lighting is softer on the eyes. Im still going to install the led strips as well since I already bought them, but not out of necessity. Seemed like the price was fair and they shipped fast. 100% pleased!

I took all of my bulbs out and very meticulously used a hobby razor to cut and cover them with 3m translucent red lense tape, works great.

Got the front foot well led strips in, brightened things up a bit. Pic with instrument cluster for the op. Would be cool with a red cluster. Regardless, like this much better than the stock bulbs.

Gwerner74, seeing if you ordered these and how they worked out. My map and floor lights have started flickering. Dome light has no issue. Wondering if they are just cheap or of something else is causing it.

So this eBay kit from viper is totally plug and play? Even using the plate lights in the footwell?

Hope this helps. This guy used a white led but there are similar red led lights.

I just did my foot well LED's tonight in ice blue. I will be doing the overhead console and rear next week as well. I couldn't stand the factory pale white LED's that the truck came with.

Here is the part number for the sockets and a picture once they are installed. I used 194 ice blue LED's... Don't forget you will need to get to push in retainers that are 1/2" to hold the sockets in place. They don't come with them.
