Replacing head light bulbs

This is the first time I've needed to replace bulbs in a Dodge and I can't find how to get to the bulb. Any insight?

This is on a 1500, but it should be the same process. Once the lights are out, there's 2 dust caps on each light, one for the high beam bulb and one for the low beam bulb. Just unscrew the dust caps and the bulbs are right there. It's fairly simple once you've done it once

Wow that plain sucks, all that to change a light bulb. There must be a joke somewhere there.

Could be worse... My Sierra required the front bumper be removed.

You can get at the bottom screw with a couple extensions and some tape to hold the screw in the socket, thus avoiding having to remove the grill. I just find it simpler to remove the grill and have more room to take the lights out though.

I find the most PITA part is that black plastic cover to the rad. Taking the grille off is easy, and really makes it so much easier to work. I learned if you pry from behind the little door in the wheel well the fastener just stays in place. Last time I pried on the fastener it popped out and lodged itself in the front suspension.

Holy crap, has the design changed that much?? On my 2007 I can just reach behind the reflector and twist out the sockets without removing anything.

Yeah it's kind of a pain haha. Once you've done it a few times though it only takes a couple minutes to have both lights out

Once you do it, it's pretty easy...but still a pain.
