I had to remove the ac lines and blower moter under the dash due to the drain line being broken and leaking on the floor. As it came away a thin metal wire leading from the top of the evaporator coil to an electrical part that the chiltons manual calls the "resistor block".
Does the thin metal line just feed into the evaporator and just sit there? Is this their idea of a ground? Or did this break away from the evaporator and I now have to replace the whole thing??? any help would be appreciated.
