I just put in some Sylvania LED zevo reverse lights. Happy with the results so far. Some pictures attached.

I have those also. On the express cluster I don't get a bulb out message. When I upgraded to the better instrument cluster it gave me a bulb out message.

In your case, you might have to get a resistor.

I did not have to use any resistors. I used the 921’s

They look great (bright) ! I see on the package they're rated at 6K . That's what I have on mine, different brand though. I'm sure that 6K is about as bright as can be had at this time and you've got a lifetime warranty with a reputable brand , can't beat that. Ram on !

I would pop one out and look at it before you bought a set. If you go to sylvanias website where UnsatFC went, they say that with projector beam headlights, you use those 7440’s and with regular headlights, it’s the 921’s.

I have no idea why what style headlight you have would dictate which backup bulb your truck uses.

I think that if you have the projector headlights then you have the LED lights in the rear, perhaps as a package deal from the factory?

Well yeah, if you have the premium headlights up front then you’re going to more than likely have the premium, LED tail lights in the back but the backup bulbs are probably still incandescent.

Even my fancy aftermarket LED tail lights I got from Anzo that were 300 bucks a pair still used the factory filament-style backup bulbs.

These are the 7440’s in regular bulbs.

Just so it's clear....a higher bulb color temperature (i.e. 6000K) does not equal "brighter" light (lumens).
