Me either Erik, everything I own is matte finish except the old Browning A-5 thats wood with a blued barrel and the Ruger and Marlin guns are Stainless steel with black stocks. If you do alot of Turkey or Duck I can see the camo playing a bigger role though

    For my SR40
Ruger SR9, Galloway Precision Asheville, NC SR9/40 SR9c Pistol Parts

    Really want the safe though
Something like this. With the kid walking and grabbing everything he can get his hands on I want it secure where he cant get it yet easy access should I need to get to them in a hury.

    GunVault Deluxe Minivault Pistol Safe

    Or the biometric vault

The Ghost trigger does not have any real specs about it that I saw, the CCW trigger setup sounded pretty good. Im not sure if it will be a good fit or still require gunsmithing though. Saw they had replacement springs also to help soak up some recoil with heavy +p loads. Those safes you posted looks like the one he has but has the larger one, the mini might be tight for the gun.

Ryan, stay away from the biometric shit. Please. I sold safes all the way through college and still do it as a side job. The problem is, ecspecially with smaller companies the biometric stuff they're using isn't good enough yet to work in a manner that I would feel comfortable with. I'm not saying it won't work, but if you can stay with something like the other one where you just push buttons that is what I would do. Less failures likely to happen when have an emergency and need to get in quickly.

I just got a timney trigger for the Nagant . Went with a 2 pound as the OEM one on it was 7 pound and tough to pull .

I like timney's but the AR'S have match triggers

I know a few of y'all have .45's. What brand of ammo are you runnin through it. I had a buddy sell his and gave me over 200 rounds of Monarch brand. Never heard of it but just a little searching and they seem fairly cheap
