Running problem....

I have a problem with my 2003 Dodge Ram 1500. When I start my truck to warm it up, the idle surges after a few minutes. When I hear it, I go back out and shut it off, wait a few seconds, restart it. It will run normal after that. Ive also had it happen going down the road. I'll be driving along and it'll be like I hit a bump, then the red light will come on and flash. I'll pull it over, shut it off, wait a few seconds, restart it, and then it'll be ok. I'm thinking its something electrical with the throttle. Any direction as to what it might be will be appreciated.

Any engine codes? I’ve had a similar issue when the oxygen sensor was going bad. It takes a minute for the sensor to heat up and start getting a signal, then the truck started running rough
