A member inquired about my taillight install....

I used wire instead of the plastic clips that were provided with the tubes. The clips felt cheap and I didn't want them breaking or moving around after the tails were all sealed up...

As far as lifting my truck...it's doing great! Lol

I haven't had any issues but I also don't take it offroad much. I need new tires.

I am, but not sure yet. I pull a travel trailer quite a bit, and was looking at the Tuftruck springs, so If I can do those and the lift, then I am totally in. I really like the way the RCX lift is done. And you are a no BS kind of guy so I figured I would ask.

There's a couple of different air bag setups that I've come across that seem to work well with the 6" lift setup. I'll be getting a toyhauler down the road so I'll be installing one of these setups in the near future. Also leaning towards on-board air system.

Forgot all about my 3rd brake light mod. I have noticed it helps keeping tailgaters back.

Did you make this mod only to the 3rd brake light or also to your 2 tailgate lights?

Only the third light. I'm not sure if the taillights would be legal to do this.

I have had multiple cops behind me while out driving since the install and have had no issues.

I have a non-DOT brake light (modulates and MUCH, MUCH brighter than stock) on my scoot. No issues whatsoever with Johnny Law. I figure if they want to write me a ticket for my increasing my safety, c'est la vie.
