Nevermind, I misread your post, thought you were wanting the brake light switch, not the parking brake switch.

The parking brake switch is located right behind the brake pedal, it is not connected in any way to the hydraulic system. If the brake lights are on constantly it may be related to the brake light switch.

We've had a problem before with the Wiring diagrams not matching what actually happens.

If this wiring diagram is accurate pins 6 and 5 should be disconnected when the brake pedal is in the resting position. Otherwise in the resting position pins 1,2 and 5,6 should be open, then 3,4 should be closed. If its not, just make sure they switch states when you hit the pedal.

hmmm okay thanks,
it looks like this switch don't look like a switch :birgits_tiredcoffeei will look closer, thank you.
Happy to read then you agree with the fact then there's no relation between hydraulic system and this (fu..)light :anitoof:
i fix this ... then i go look for the switch (i don't find an accurate translation for this ...)

That is a round bleeder screw on a caliper. You're gonna want to order a new caliper if you cant get that bleeder out with a pair of vise grips, though it looks like you have tried that approach already.

rebuilt all ! no oïl leak !
after removing "the air " from the system, the parking brake light turned OFF ! it means .. there is a relation between hydraulic system and this light ! BTW .. all fixed and i am happy ;-)
NEXXXXXT .. removing exhaust sensor to replace it !
i already love my badass ;-) ! GEN 2 power :banana-mario:

Ohh, I must've had a temporary drop of brain cells, I though your brake lights weren't working, not the brake warning light. My bad.

Yeah, there is a pressure differential switch in the master cylinder that looks for a difference in pressure between the front and rear brakes, having air in the lines will certainly cause that light to come on.

Glad you got it fixed. But it makes me wonder how little power trucks over there have? These are great trucks, but the v8's were never big power houses, at least compared to other American V-8s they were pretty standard.
