Howdy, newbie here. I just bought a 2007 Ram 1500 with a 3/5 drop and SRT 10 22" rims.
I want to know what the best shocks for this setup. I don't know what the guy put on when he did the drop but when I hit a bump I hear scraping and it dang near jars my teeth loose. Also, I have recently noticed cuts in the side wall of the passenger rear tire.

Thanks for any help you can give,

Belltech Street Performance shocks are probably the best off the rack shock for lowered Rams.

Without knowing what components were used in the drop, it's hard to diagnose a rough ride on a lowered truck, but it sounds like aside from that, you either need smaller tires, need to roll the fenders, or a combination of the two. I have RT 22s on my truck which is considerably lower than yours and have addressed everything so that mine do not rub at all.

What size tires are you running?
Is the rear flipped or just lowered?
What components were used to get a 3" drop up front?

Answering those questions will help a lot in diagnosis of your rough ride. Mine is lowered almost 6 in the front and 10 in the back and rides decently. With a few more changes, it'll ride like a Cadillac, so it's not necessary to deal with a rough ride on a lowered truck if you don't want to.

I just dropped mine, 3/5, with 305/40/22 srt10’s. And have no issues with rubbing at all.
