Looks like just a step. It mounts to the rocker panels not the frame.

Is it heavy duty? Will it serve as rock guards or just as a step. Thanks
They are stout, I'm 235lbs, don't flex at all. They attach to the inside body holes from the factory, not the frame. maybe could take light scraping, but I would feel better if mounted to the frame.

White Knuckle, unless you don't take your PW off-road, which then what is the point...

Been debating it but i dont rock crawl... and the wk sliders are 250lbs a set... that's a lot of extra weight

Protection does have a cost. BTBH I have not noticed the weight. I'm down in the Southwest, and here in AZ and UT, rocker coverage is important.

I installed the AMP (hardwired) Power Steps last weekend. It was definitely a pain in the a**, but they are awesome. Just walking up to the truck, you can't even see them. The wife loves them. They make it so easy to get in and out now.

I also Installed their bed step. Another great product.
