solid aluminum rims pics wanted

i got a set of old school solid aluminum rims with 31s for 100 bucks just wanted to know if anyone was running them and had any pics....mines 4x4

haha nah man my trucks out of alignment and i dont want to ruin the tires that are on them...i cant wait to get them on the only thing is they're only 7 inches wide but whatever hopefully i can get it aligned early next week then ill throw some pics up

I meant of the rim. Doesn't have to be on the truck. Just so we know what rim you're talking about.

15x7 is kinda small. Won't be able to put a very big tire on those.

ya i know...they have 31 10.5s and i want 33s but i really dont know if i want the rims...i might just put them on to save some time until i can buy something else

I would suggest 16 or 17 for a 33 but that's just my personal taste. Your issue with those rims though is width.

What year did second gens start using larger brakes. I thought after 97 the smalles you coul go was a 16" wheel. I'm probably wrong though

I believe it was around 98-99 when the switched the breaks, but I could be mistaken too

I ran those on my old K5. They were 15x8 and I ran 39.5x 13.5 Iroks on them. Ran them down to 4psi all the time and I never popped a bead. You'd be surprised how much better the bead holding capability is on a 15 over a 16 and up rim. Don't ask me how it works, just does.

I agree. dont think 15" rims fit 2nd gens

they shouldnt look bad though.
