Solid stick doodad holding on bumper ... does it slide out?

Trying to remove the bumper and I see this thing sticking out.
No thread no bolt nothing.
Doesn't look like it's welded on so I figure it should just slide out but it seems to be pretty tight.
Still waiting for the other bolts to soak in PB Blaster, just want to see what I'm in for ...

Its an alignment tab, nothing that needs to be messed with. Just helps line everything up when you put the car back together
